01
Policy overview
Scope of This Policy
This Policy applies to eligible shipping containers and related products
purchased directly from Miami Containers LLC through our website, by
telephone, by email, through an invoice, or through another authorized
sales channel.
It should be read together with our Terms and Conditions, Shipping Policy,
Payment Policy, Sales Tax Policy, Privacy Policy, quotation, invoice, order
confirmation, and any product-specific or custom-order terms.
Important requirement
A product must not be returned or transported to Miami Containers LLC
without prior written return authorization. Unauthorized returns may be
refused and may not qualify for a refund.
02
Return deadline
30-Day Return Period
Eligible Return Window
30 Days
Beginning on the date the product is delivered to the customer.
Eligible products may be returned within
30 calendar days after delivery. A return request must
be submitted before the return period expires.
A return request is considered submitted when Miami Containers LLC
receives the customer’s written request at
sales@miami-containers.com
.
The request must identify the order and provide sufficient information
for us to evaluate eligibility. Merely contacting a driver, depot,
manufacturer, transporter, or other third party does not constitute a
return request to Miami Containers LLC.
03
Return requirements
Conditions for an Eligible Return
To qualify for consideration under this Policy, the product must normally
meet all the following requirements:
✓
The return request is submitted within 30 calendar days of delivery.
✓
Written return authorization has been issued by Miami Containers LLC.
✓
The customer provides valid proof of purchase or an order number.
✓
The product remains in substantially the same condition as delivered.
✓
The product has not been materially modified, damaged, or misused.
✓
The product is empty and free from customer property, waste, or hazards.
✓
The customer provides photographs showing the product’s current condition.
✓
The product can be safely accessed, inspected, collected, and transported.
Approval is not automatic merely because the request was submitted within
30 days. Every request is subject to product eligibility, inspection,
exclusions, applicable law, and the terms of the original order.
04

commissioned, modified, or used, except where a qualifying defect applies.
08

Dents, scratches, patches, faded paint, surface corrosion, previous
markings, repairs, and other characteristics consistent with the
disclosed condition or grade.
Custom orders
Deposits and payments for custom, modified, specially sourced, or
made-to-order products may become nonrefundable once sourcing,
fabrication, modification, preparation, or other work begins, as
disclosed in the quotation or invoice.
05
Authorization procedure
How to Request a Return
To request a return, email
sales@miami-containers.com
within the 30-day return period.
01
Submit Your Request
Use the subject line Return Request and include
your full name, company name, telephone number, email address,
invoice number, and order number.
02
Describe the Reason
Explain why you are requesting the return and identify any alleged
defect, damage, incorrect specification, or other concern.
03
Provide Photographs
Submit clear photographs of all sides, the roof where safely
possible, doors, interior, floor, identification markings, and
the reported area of concern.
04
Wait for Authorization
Do not arrange transportation or return the product until you
receive written instructions and a return authorization number.
05
Prepare for Collection
Remove all property and hazardous materials and ensure the
container is empty, accessible, safe, and ready for collection.
06
Inspection and Decision
The product will be inspected before final return acceptance and
refund approval.
06
Transportation responsibility
Return Transportation and Related Costs
Shipping containers require specialized transportation. Returns must be
collected or transported using a provider and method approved by Miami
Containers LLC.
Customer Responsibility
Change-of-Mind Returns
For an approved return that is not caused by an incorrect,
materially nonconforming, or defective product supplied by us, the
customer is responsible for:
- Return transportation and collection costs.
- Crane, tilt-bed, side-loader, or specialized-equipment charges.
- Site-access preparation and waiting time.
- Storage or failed-collection charges.
- Any applicable disclosed restocking or recovery costs.
Miami Containers LLC Responsibility
Qualifying Seller Error
When the return results from our verified delivery of an incorrect
product or a material failure to conform to the accepted written
order, Miami Containers LLC will arrange an appropriate remedy and
bear reasonable authorized return costs as required by applicable law.
- Incorrect container size or type.
- Incorrect quantity delivered.
- Materially missing approved modifications.
- Qualifying undisclosed defect existing at delivery.
- Other verified material nonconformity.
Original shipping charge
The original $650 shipping charge is generally nonrefundable for an
approved change-of-mind return after successful delivery. It will be
refunded when required by law or when the return results from our
verified material breach or shipping error.
07
Condition assessment
Return Inspection
Returned products are subject to inspection before a refund is approved.
The inspection may consider:
✓
The product’s condition compared with its condition at delivery.
✓
Whether the correct product has been returned.
✓
Signs of use, loading, occupation, modification, or relocation.
✓
Damage occurring after delivery or during unauthorized transport.
✓
Missing components, accessories, documents, or equipment.
✓
Contamination, waste, hazardous materials, or personal property.
We may request additional photographs, records, access to the product,
an independent inspection, or other reasonable evidence before deciding
a return or refund request.
If the returned product does not satisfy this Policy, we may refuse the
return or reduce the refund by the lawful amount necessary to account
for damage, missing components, cleaning, restoration, transportation,
storage, diminished value, or other documented costs.
08
Refund timeframe
Approved Refunds Within 14 Days
Refund Processing Period
14 Days
Beginning after the return is received, inspected, and formally approved.
Once the returned product has been received or recovered, inspected,
and approved, Miami Containers LLC will process the approved refund
within 14 calendar days.
The 14-day period begins on the date we issue written confirmation that
the return and refund have been approved. It does not begin when the
customer first submits a return request.
Approved refunds will normally be sent to the original payment source.
Because bank transfer is currently our accepted payment method, we may
require verified bank-account details belonging to the original customer
before issuing the refund.
Refund May Include
- The approved refundable product price.
- Applicable refundable sales tax.
- Original shipping when legally required.
- Other amounts approved in writing.
Refund May Exclude
- Nonrefundable original shipping charges.
- Return transportation and collection expenses.
- Nonrefundable custom or modification costs.
- Documented damage or diminished-value deductions.
Bank processing time
After Miami Containers LLC issues a refund, the customer’s financial
institution may require additional time to post the funds. Processing
delays controlled by the recipient bank are outside our direct control.
09
Delivery concerns
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Products
Customers should inspect the product promptly after delivery and before
loading, using, moving, painting, repairing, connecting, or modifying it.
Visible delivery damage, an incorrect product, or an alleged material
defect should be reported as soon as reasonably possible to
sales@miami-containers.com
.
The report should contain:
- The customer’s name and order number.
- A detailed explanation of the concern.
- Clear photographs and, where useful, video evidence.
- A copy of any delivery receipt or inspection record.
- The date the issue was discovered.
- Confirmation that the product has not been altered.
Where a claim is verified, an appropriate remedy may include repair,
replacement, price adjustment, authorized return, or refund, depending
on the circumstances, commercial reasonableness, written warranty, and
applicable law.
Used-container appearance
Cosmetic wear consistent with the advertised grade—including dents,
scratches, fading, patches, surface corrosion, previous markings, and
repairs—is not automatically considered damage, a defect, or grounds
for return.
10
Order cancellation
Cancellations Before Delivery
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing before dispatch.
A request is not effective until confirmed in writing by Miami Containers LLC.
An order that has already been dispatched, transported, delivered,
modified, prepared, specially sourced, or placed into production may
not qualify for cancellation or a full refund.
When cancellation is approved, the refund may be reduced by lawful and
documented costs already incurred, including sourcing, fabrication,
modification, transportation, administrative processing, storage, or
third-party cancellation charges.
If Miami Containers LLC cancels an order before dispatch for a reason
not caused by the customer, the applicable amount paid for the cancelled
portion will be refunded.
11
Failed collection
Customer Preparation for Return Collection
Before an authorized return collection, the customer must:
- Completely empty the product.
- Remove personal property, equipment, waste, and hazardous substances.
- Disconnect utilities using qualified professionals where necessary.
- Remove unauthorized attachments or structures where instructed.
- Provide safe commercial-vehicle access.
- Ensure the ground is stable and suitable for collection equipment.
- Keep people, animals, vehicles, and obstructions clear.
- Provide any necessary gate codes, permits, or site authorization.
Additional costs resulting from an unsuccessful collection caused by
customer unavailability, unsafe access, contamination, inaccurate
information, or inadequate preparation may be deducted from the refund
or charged separately.
12
Refund protection
Fraudulent or Abusive Return Requests
Miami Containers LLC may refuse, investigate, or report a return or refund
request involving suspected fraud, altered documentation, false statements,
substituted products, concealed damage, abusive conduct, unauthorized
chargebacks, or another unlawful activity.
We may request reasonable proof of identity, proof of payment, product
identification, photographs, delivery records, and other verification
before processing a request.
13
Mandatory protections
Consumer and Statutory Rights
This Policy provides contractual return rights subject to its stated
conditions. Nothing in this Policy excludes, restricts, or replaces a
right, warranty, remedy, cancellation right, or refund entitlement that
cannot lawfully be waived.
Where applicable law provides a customer with greater rights than this
Policy, the applicable mandatory law will control.
14
Applicable legal rules
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Return and Refund Policy is governed by the laws of the State of
Florida and applicable United States federal law, without regard to
conflict-of-law principles.
Any dispute arising from this Policy will be handled according to the
governing-law, jurisdiction, and dispute-resolution provisions in the
Miami Containers LLC Terms and Conditions, subject to any mandatory
consumer right that cannot legally be waived.
15
Future revisions
Changes to This Policy
Miami Containers LLC may update this Policy prospectively to reflect
changes in products, delivery practices, return procedures, payment
methods, business operations, or applicable law.
An updated Policy will be published with a revised effective date.
Changes will not retroactively reduce the material return rights attached
to an existing accepted order unless permitted by law and agreed in writing.
